Waterfront Boat Tours


1. RIGHT OF ADMISSION
Sport Aviation trades as “Waterfront Boat Tours” and employees have the right of admission. All passengers bear the sole risk of any injury to their person, loss or damage to their property from whatsoever cause arising, and they acknowledge that they waive and abandon any claim or claims which they may have against the owners, master or crew of the vessel arising from any cause whatsoever including the negligent action or omission of the owners, master or crew of the vessel.”

A passenger is defined under Maritime Rules Part 40C as meaning any person carried on a ship, other than. The master and members of the crew, and any other person employed or engaged in any capacity on board the ship on the business of the ship.

Children are defined as passengers aged between 1 and 11 years old. Any passenger aged 12 and above will be charged as an adult.

No access will be granted at any time without a boarding pass. All passengers are required to be in possession of a valid boarding pass before boarding a vessel.

2. PAYMENT

2.1.1. A 100% deposit must be paid within 7 days of the Private Charter booking.
2.1.2. Full Payment is required prior to departure of the cruise.
2.1.3. Only Private Charters booked for a minimum of 2 hours over the sunset period (between 17h00 and 21h00 depending on the time of year) will be accepted.
2.1.4. Tickets must be paid in full before a boarding pass is issued. A boarding pass is required for access to the vessel.
2.1.5. If payment is not made within the time of the agreed arrangement, the agreed fee will be raised by 5%.

2.2 1. Enquiries and provisional bookings are only confirmed when they have been paid in full. A booking will only be ticketed on the day of the cruise.

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

3.1 Scheduled Cruises (on a Per Person BASIS)
3.1.1. All non-arrivals for booked cruises are termed as “No Shows.” All clients are required to check in at the booking office minutes prior to boarding the vessel. Boarding passes will be issued during check-in at the office.

3.2 Private Charters – If a confirmed reservation is cancelled, cancellation fees will be levied as follows:
3.2.1.1 A cancellation fee of 50% is levied if cancelled within 14 days, 100% cancellation fee  within 7 days
3.2.1.2 No refunds will be given in the event of a client either arriving late or not arriving for the cruise.

3.2.2 Late arrivals/no-shows:
3.2.1 Special Private Charters over Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Easter Weekend and any other Special Events, the Cancellation Fee payable by the client will be 100% of the Private Charter Rate regardless of when cancellation is made.

3.2.2 In the unlikely event that we as Waterfront Boat Tours cancel the Private Charter for any reason, then Waterfront Boat Tours will not be held liable for any additional losses incurred by the person or company chartering the vessel.

In the event that another boat is not available, a full refund will be given to the client.

4. REFUND POLICY
4.1. No refunds.

5. CATERING & BAR
5.1. All catering is to be finalised at least 7 days prior to the event, including all payments for such catering.
5.2. If the charter is cancelled due to bad weather or any other reason, the client will be responsible for any catering arrangements made. (See cancellation policy above.)
5.3. Cancellation charge applies as per boat cancellation.

6. DAMAGES
6.1. Waterfront Boat Tours reserves the right to charge for pilferage or damage to the vessel and/or its equipment and instrumentation.
6.2. All passengers, once aboard the vessel, fall under the direct authority of the Skipper and vessel owners and undertake to comply with any requests and/or instructions issued to them by such persons.
6.3. Passengers undertake, at all times, to respect the environment and will not intentionally pollute, damage or otherwise harm sea life and the surrounding environment.

WEBSITE TERMS
The names, trademarks, service marks and logos of Waterfront Boat Tours appearing on this site may not be used in any advertising or publicity, or otherwise to indicate Waterfront Boat Tours sponsorship of, or affiliation with, any product or service, without Waterfront Boat Tours / Sport Aviation prior express written permission.

HOW TO CLAIM YOUR BOARDING PASS
Step 1:
You will receive a voucher within minutes by email. If you have put in the incorrect email address, or do not receive our email, please email us at: info@waterfrontboattours.co.za

Step 2:
You are welcome to make a reservation by either booking online,  calling, visiting or emailing us and reserving your seats. We will need to verify your voucher details as these will secure your reservation. (See below.)

Step 3:
To redeem the boarding pass: visit the office at least 20 minutes before departure, hand in your voucher and receive a boarding pass ticket. (NB: You must first have done step 2 and reserved a seat.)

Step 4:
To board the vessel, please present your boarding pass to a crew member. Enjoy the cruise!

*Vouchers must be claimed within 12 weeks (3 months) of purchase.
